The bottom of vase bears the partial mark "-elleek" missing the B (brown mark with serpent logo and Willets where hole drilled) of Willets Belleek, as vase was previously drilled for conversion to a lamp ~circa 1900.
The base and matching shade are both porcelain by Belleek Mark Bellkek on the base with the painters' initials E. E. The lamp stands 14- 3/4 inches tall the shade measure 7 in in diameter and the base of the lamp measures 5 inches in diameter. I'm sure not many of these survived as the shade is very fragile. This superb urn has been wired as a lamp.and has a crack in the stem base between the ovid body and the base. (see photos) The painting and gilding is just breath taking.dramatic full round hand painting.but due to the lamp base hardware I cannot see the underside for factory marks.
