Here we have the most important antique c.1905 Willetts Belleek hand painted Exposition vase made and hand painted by the most important roses artist ever "Franz Bischoff" his pieces like this regularly sell for 15-30 Thousand dollars each. Yes, look up the auction prices for this artist. A similar one to this but thinner and smaller sold at Christies for over $14,000.00 and this is nicer. This is appraised between $12.000-$17,000 and even more important is this vase was made for an exposition or show because the bottom is marked Bischoffs roses "Property of studio" meaning this was his studio piece owned by them only. The roses are painted incredibly well and the work is incredible. Standing 16" tall and 8 inches across. A fat fine masterpiece and painted on a Willetts Belleek blank as he used these and Limoges blanks to paint on. No chips, cracks or repairs, this is the finest and only vase on ebay like this. The vase features a large central hippiritus surrounded by 3 smaller curled hippiritus cones and a base of sea waves and seashells. Highlighted with pink tinting and a soft luster glaze. This vase is in mint condition except for the porcelain paste stabilization done under the base.
